Call for Proposals: IT for Change: ICTs for participatory local development
|
|
IT for Change is undertaking a collaborative research study with support from UNDP New York on ’ICTs for Participatory Local Development’, the outcomes of which will provide a roadmap for a systemic application of ICTs across development domains and processes, in a manner that transforms community- and citizen-centric dimensions of local development. |
IT for Change is seeking researchers or organisations from the global South to collaborate on this project. Please see the Call for Research Proposals (PDF), and download the full project proposal (including full details). Four partners will be selected and will work alongside IT for Change for the duration of the project, each of whom will undertake two to three in-depth case studies on ICT systems in their local regions. At this stage IT for Change urgently seeks short descriptions of potential candidate initiatives from prospective partners. The most relevant among the initiatives will be selected for in-depth study.
